Product Description -
After unexpectedly quitting his former band (Kid Dynamite) in 2000 to pursue schooling and a career in film, Jason Shevchuck took two steps back from the music scene. Having only handled vocals in his former band, Shevchuck upped the ante a bit and picked up a guitar. Over a couple of years songs were written, a band was put together, taken apart, and put together again.
This brings us to near present day when Fat happens upon a None More Black demo song on the web. We’re blown away, and request more material. File Under Black, None More Black’s debut full length, is the end result, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the results.
Hardcore ferocity, rock n’ roll breakdowns, and hooks galore, are fused with vocals that are growly and gravelly, yet deeply rooted in melody. File Under Black is an album that will have even the most jaded of punk rockers feeling like something fresh, new, and credible has been introduced to the genre! (2003)
