This second edition has been fully revised and updated to provide trainees with the latest advances and knowledge in the field. A number of new topics have been added to this edition including tropical infections, acute coronary syndrome, acute ischemic stroke, spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage, meningoencephalitis and status epilepticus, infective endocarditis, acute aortic emergencies, and snake and scorpion bites. The text is further enhanced by clinical photographs, illustrations and tables to assist learning. The previous edition (9789388958554) published in 2019.
