Product Description -

A celebration to mark 50 years of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band!

Mannthology brings together all of the band’s singles from 1971 to date, including some from solo projects, and contains previously unreleased tracks, hard-to-obtain B sides and rare mixes.

The set showcases Manfred’s striking ability to identify, arrange and perform other people’s songs to make them his own, including songs by Dylan, Springsteen, Marley, Weller and Sting.  

The standard format contains three CDs (50 tracks) in a clamshell book with a short history of the band, and track notes. 

The deluxe form is a 30cm hardback book with four CDs (the 50 tracks plus a bonus CD of 16 tracks) and two DVDs (the Earth Band’s 2017 Baloise session and a documentary film covering the band’s 50-year history) the book has 100 pages including a comprehensive history of the band, biographies, extensive track notes, comments and anecdotes from band members, plus 50 high quality photos.

While we ship all items with some outer casing, such as a digipak, jewel case, cardboard casing, or plastic sleeve, for this specific sale we are selling only the inner paper sleeve and CD only, as specifically outlined in the description of this listing. (we make this disclaimer as some collectors are looking for a specific outer case type). The outer casing is replaceable and has no value and is provided within this sale as packaging only. we make this disclaimer as the outside sleeve casing can be damaged or scratched, and for this reason, the outer casing is not offered as part of this sale as the Buyer can easily replace the outer casings for the inner sleeve and CD.
