Recorded in 2009\/2010, and originally released in 2014 - this amazing piece of heavy, speedy metal is widely regarded as one of Norway’s finest underground metal releases from modern times. Rooted in the speed \/ heavy metal traditions of the early 80s, “Wizard’s Spell” sounds as if the album was indeed recorded way back when, instead of feeling like a retro pastiche. It sounds like a studio album from the early eighties, adding to its sense of time and place. As one reviewer put it:\u003cem\u003e “For all intents and purposes this album could have been reissued from a 1981 release from a failing record company and no one would have questioned it.
